| "My hope is in the name of the LORD where my help comes from, he's my strength, my song."
Sometimes hope is the only thing that keeps you going. It's like the inspiration you need, like a sunset when the day ends.

These were the sun sets that helped inspire that blog entry about sun sets a while ago. The pictures don't really do it justice.

| I was reading Luke 7 today, I came across the story of the woman who wiped Jesus' feet with her tears. What a beautiful scene. At the same time, he was in a Pharisees house and the Pharisee condemned this woman. The Bible makes it clear that if it had been up to him the woman would not have been allowed near Jesus. Jesus made an interesting comment at the end about forgivness. The questions I found myself asking were:
1) Do I judge people and block them from coming to Jesus? I had to ask forgiveness for this.
2) Do I attract people to Jesus?
I had a great time at the park last night with a good friend of mine and part of our conversaion revolved around, "Do we show Jesus?" In essence do we live for his glory? This morning, as part of the worship cd I listened to I heard the line to one song that really stood out to me. These are the words:
"I simply live for you."

| Sometimes fighting drains you more than you first anticipate. The reality is always somewhat tougher than you imagined. However i'm reminded of the Psalmist in Psalm 45 "Why are you downcast oh my soul, why so disturbed within me, put your hope in God for I will yet praise you my saviour and my God."
The Bible also tells me, "Unto him who is able to do immeasurably more than we can ever imagine or dream."
The fight might be harder than we thought but God is also more able than we think.
